Young Women’s Fest – Mural Workshops
There will be a series of 5 mural painting workshops leading up to Young Women’s Fest. The workshops will involve young women participating in the design and painting of a mural inspired by the 3 phases of feminism which will be on the wall in the Drop In Room at the Youth Centre.

International Women’s Day Centenary – Celebrating Women’s Lives in Wollongong
Community connectedness is the theme for this event. Entertainment and lunch will be provided, while transport and childcare will be available on request with RSVP. Book early as there are limited places available.

International Women’s Day Launch Luncheon
This event brings together women from across the region to recognise and celebrate the achievements and successes of women in the region. It is also an opportunity to highlight and discuss the challenges that women still face.
The luncheon raises funds for Carinya Cottage, a program run by The Salvation Army to provide assistance to women and women with children experiencing domestic violence, homelessness or some other personal crisis.

Divas Day Out
Share a day of singing and music with Out of the Blue Singers.
Time: 9:30 am – 4 pm
Location: Ribbonwood Community Centre Dapto (Disabled access available)
Cost: $40 includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea, music and learning CD/audio tape.
Out of the Blue Singers will also perform at the International Women’s Day 100 Years Celebration Concert – see details below.

A concert presenting Funkier than Alice, Out of the Blue Singers, and the International Women’s Day Divas Chorus, Anemone, BollywoodXclusive and Hypaflex hip hop, along with other local culturally diverse female performers and speakers.
